THIS IS NOT AN OIL THREAD like usual, I just wondered if anyone has used BellRay 20/50. My local HD dealer is selling it and I thought I would give it a try.
Not intending to start a storm here but sometimes people want to ask a simple oil question and not what brand is better/
randy
My dealer also like to use it. Hey, they can put baby food in there for all I care. If they keep the bike running and I don't have any problems, they can put it whatever they want. LOL!!
Bel-Ray has been making fluids for motorcycle applications for 40-50 years. They are a respected name in the powersports world.
I would not hesitate to use any of their products if they met my requirements/needs.
Motorcycle fluids have progressed quite a ways since the 70's, 80's, even 90's...
These days, checking for the proper API certs and fluid weights, as well as knowing product contents (zinc, base stocks, etc) is more important than the manufacturer....
However, I am like most people who use manufacturer names that they have trusted for years, rather than one they never heard of or is relatively new....
And sorry, but yes, this is an oil thread......

I use BelRay in my transmission when I can find it locally. I have never used their motor oil though. I’m happy using Mobil 1 V- twin, plus it easier to find.
