Default Dead 14flhxs

Went to get bike out of storage and battery was dead so guy brought out jump pack and fired it up, I brought it home andparked it , went and picked up new battery yesterday and put it in and nothing? Flashes enter pin on dic? Don’t know a pin so what next?

Did you have your key fob with you ? If you did the battery in it is probably dead. My fob battery was dead this spring, Got the enter pin message until I replaced it. I set my pin but if you never set yours , try the last five digits of the vin.

It’s asking for the PIN because the security is armed. Change the battery in your proximity fob, it must be dead.

Then be sure to set the PIN to something you’ll remember. Get your owners manual and read through it.

Got it fellas you where all right, turned out both fobs had dead batteries!

read your OM as it shows you how to check for a stored PIN. it also shows the steps to change it.
