What started in mid November and has morphed into a gigantic project going further than i thought i was going to but exactly where i knew i needed to be. My story on the bike is in my post, https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...-my-story.html I went to in a lot of detail and showed some cool during build shots also posted up a lot of cool shots via https://www.Instagram.com/scrapglide. Here are some more cool shots as well as a video of the very first ride. Bike is currently at Infocus Audio for a radio, amp, and speakers.
This is what the bike looked like before.
Have you ever watched a show, for maybe 3-4 seasons and then all of a sudden the network cuts it short and they have to tie up all the loose ends in a matter of 8-9 episodes? I feel like that's what happened with this bike. I want more, I wanted to see the nitty gritty of putting it all back together. Sorry for being selfish. lol
My God...it's an awesome bike, an awesome story, and an awesome build. I'm sure you are glad to be done (just in time for riding season). I hope you get years of enjoyment out of it and you think about your Dad every time you look at it. Makes me think about the day I'll lose my pops, and hopefully I can find closure and comfort in such a way that you have. Ride on Brother.
