Default Cigarette lighter battery usage.

I got this cool little Bluetooth adapter for my 05 ultra classic. It plugs in to the cig lighter. Will this drain power from the battery if I keep it plugged in when the bike is off?

No. The lighter socket is powered only when the ignition is on or in the accessory position..

Absolutely. How much it affects things depends on current draw, state of the battery,, how long it's plugged in between starts, and a bunch of other things we don't know about. You'll just need to experiment a bit.

So this little thing has a battery of its own. I was going nuts because it was staying connected after the ingnition was shut off.
