Well at least I’m in good enough health to be back on the forum! I had two seizures last Tuesday that put me out of commission past few days. Won’t be able to ride for a while cause both my shoulders separated during the seizures. The left one isn’t so bad but the right one had trauma to the extent my arm is in a sling. I can’t do anything with it including simply placing my hand on my bars. Hopefully getting better everyday.
Dam dude i hope you feel better. That **** sucks. I remember missing a whole spring/summer with back issues and it sucks. If you are up to it, start a project on the bike to keep your mind occupied and make sure its something that is doable as your shoulders heal up.
Wish you the best. Bottom line, what caused the seizures and did you have warning signs?
Our son had seizures and couldn't drive for 6 months, got on meds to treat and all was good. Actually went into the Marine Corps, after some extra testing, and no issues. Suffered a head injury, after 3 year in the Corps and seizures started again. Medical discharge and different Meds, with no seizures for 12-13 years now,
Serious stuff - know what the cause is before you saddle up again.

more than likely the meds I was on. Right now I’m not only dealing with the beat up body but I’m going through withdrawals too. Thanks everyone for the encouragement.
Somewhat feel your pain. Almost two weeks ago I was lifting my 750 (for the millionth time right?) onto its center stand and pinched a nerve in my lower back. About hit the floor, but managed to get the bike upright. Although recently retired, all I can do at the moment is eat a light dose of muscle relaxers and Tylenol. Sleeping is difficult, can’t hardly walk and it’s been riding weather all this time. Sitting and reading is about all I can do right now. X-rays taken, back to the chiro Monday. Maybe it’s time to re focus on painting with water colors.

hey man what ever you do stick to the dose of the meds they give you and tell someone if you feel like your getting addicted to them! No med work good enough to risk what I’ve been going through....and this is supposed to be an easy one...the withdrawals I mean not the seizures.
2 seizures and you're worried about not riding because of your shoulders ? i'd be more worried about what's causing the seizures and what might happen riding a bike at 65 mph on the highway when one happened .
but whatever it is i hope you get it figured out soon and get back to riding .
