HD wont change the touring line much. It's their bread & butter
They'll just keep adding to it and hopefully improving it.
Pretty soon an Ultra is gonna weigh 1100 lbs.
Did any of you guys ever ride a Tour Glide ? I did. In the late 90s
I like the shake kinda makes me feel like I am in a muscle car. the bike has attitude I know the namby pambys don't get it. I keep waiting for the air bags I am sure its in the works. I will be able to get a bike that doesn't shake, has anti locking brakes, has a wind screen that blocks all of the wind, but has ac and a heater, it has air bags so I can't get hurt, and has pop out wheels in case it starts to tip over. oh snap I bought a car..
So to me...and I bet I'm not alone...buying an obsolescent Harley and crying about vibration is simply asinine!
This comes back to my belief the bikes will be so much better when the baby boomers die. They don't like change. Even when they want change, if they don't get it, they will buy anyways.
I never even realized my bike was shaking till my friend didn't buy a touring bike because of it shaking. Like others have said smooth as can be riding down the road. The only thing I don't like is the way the swing arm is held with the isolater's and not using a rear link at least if they are going to keep doing it. Beleave it would be better not to have the swing arm bolted to the shaker

true track truly helps. I did tt and glide pro and my buddy is having shake issues because his vibrates violently and mine only vibrates a little.
So, let me get this straight. Harley's shook too much until 2019. Now you are worried they will make them quit shaking all together and that's a problem? I don't understand.
i'm glad i'm not the only one who noticed that.....
Bottom line, if Harley solid mounts the engine (no matter how many counter balancers they put in) it's going to vibrate the handlebars/grips and footboards like your lady's favorite toy.
I'm not against HD making progress with these bikes. Nor do I care about the bike shaking at idle etc - take it or leave it. What I do care about is not having numb hands and feet after an hour of riding.
