Default wont shut off
Hi everyone Im new to your forum and could use your help

I have a 06 ultra that wont shut off ( engine will shut down when you turn ignition off)but not anyof the electrical nor if you hit the kill switch
Ive replaced my battery which was old and the two relays located by the battery
electrical only shuts off by pulling the fuse or disconnect battery
If you remove the wires from the ignition housing the electrical ie radio and panel cluster will tun off
could the ignition housing be the culprit ?
electrical not my friend

Have pulled the ignition switch out for any handlebar work?

Ignition is dirty or faulty.

I will try to clean if not new housing is only 55. Wont break the bank

i had new bars put on two years ago
this was abrupt last week.

**** and pin (ignition switch) not aligned properly into contact block or shorted contacts internally.

Has any stereo upgrades been done to it? I had one come in the shop doing that and there was a remote wire ran to the cigarette lighter. Removed that and all worked fine.

i pulled ignition out tonight and it looks like a bunch of plastic crap in there. I will be buying a new one
