Default Air in rear shocks

What are most people running for air pressure in rear shocks in a ultra limited 2012 riding mostly solo.

depending on your weight 25-30 and make sure you use a hand pump.. I bought one off of ebay a number of years ago because it does 1lb increments

40 lbs with the hand pump. Mine has a slow leak someplace and will leak down a little after about a week. So I usually put a little in it when I check my tires.

I ride my 2014 FLHX solo 100% of the time, so when I add air I use about 15 pounds in the 12inch shocks.

16 FLHTK, Stock air ride. Changed out RR shock oil to 5w Belray HVI. I'm 240lb. I run 22-30 solo depending on the road, very very smooth. With wife n gear, 55-60. (50 just wasnt enough cushion)

From the above we can see that you should pick a number, try it and adjust to your liking from there! Many of of us have had to do the same, as ride comfort is a very personal thing. If you don't have the owners manual, you can download one from the H-D website, go to the Owners tab. That will give you the official guidelines for your model - recommended shock pressures have changed over the years.

Always 40 to 50 Lbs, HD hand pump. Fair amount of two up riding, me 180 and wife 120.
Pretty much, fill to 50 lbs whenever I attach the hand pump a few times a year.
