Default Conversion Cam install

I have a set of 26N cams and a cam chest from a 2010 that Im (hopefully) installing this weekend. I thought I had everything, but it looks like I need spacers/shims as well, and I can't find what sizes I will need.

The front cam uses a 0.100" spacer the rear one you will need to measure and will be anywhere from 0.100 to 0.150 in 0.010 increments.

The spacers are about $5 a piece but HD sells a package with the 5 possible rear sizes for $10. (But you still have to buy the 0.100 for the front as well.)

Look it up at Ronnies: http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....%20W/%20CHAINS

awesome. I found the kit. I'm curious though, I can't visualize it, what am I measuring? How will I know which one is the correct thickness??

You're measuring the alignment of the two sprockets with a straight edge making sure the chain between them runs true. The only way to change alignment is by moving the rear cam inboard or outboard as the pinion shaft is static (in and out).
