Not being all leather makes it even a tougher decision. Have you tried both? Local dealer keeps telling me they are the same foam but I have not seen the low-profile since he doesn't have one in stock.

I have not tried the low profile touring but was told they are pretty much the same seat as far as comfort, riding position. For the small price difference I liked the look of the CVO seat better and I also like the metal badge that's embossed in the CVO seat.
I am still all over on my seat decision. How does the Low-profile touring solo and pillion compare to the CVO seat? I know it is vinyl and not leather but it looks like the same shape. Wondering if as comfortable on a long ride. Has anyone tried both?
I sold my LP setup and kept my CVO setup ..... IMO the CVO is much more comfortable.
The LP seat setup was on my SGS and I put the CVO setup on my Limited for obvious reasons (orange stitching).
Went back to my broke in C&C seat (great seat) on the SGS, and sold the LP setup.
Kept the CVO seat on the Limited, its pretty comfortable out of the box! It replaced a new C&C seat yet to be broke in, less than 500 miles.
Its true about C&C seats, they need a break in.
For those that are also getting the passenger pillion, are you also getting the fender protective strips? I think the CVO bikes have them for a reason.
I also ordered the cvobackrest bracket and need to find a backrest pad that looks ok with the 52000368 seat. I know I can buy the cvo pad but am thinking of using an all black pad to match my current rear passenger backrest pad.
As I wait for my cvo seat to arrive could someone tell me how the plain black vinyl pillion PN# 51579-0512 matches up with the cvo seat PN 52000368? Will it match up or will I need to order a cvo backrest?
