That's the stealth button, push it and all the light go out so you can run in the dark.

Thanks for all the help!

And here I though it was wired to nothing, and its purpose was to keep a rider (or a forum) in suspense.

Actually, all I could think of was the old Daffy Duck/Elmer Fudd cartoon from the early sixties where Daffy sells Elmer all kinds of "modern" conveniences for his house (automatic vacuum, etc., etc.), but he warns Elmer never to touch the "red button" on the control panel. So to this day, I can't help but use the expression "Not the WED button", whenever I'm warned not to do something. Sadly, this button isn't red.

Nice, Good to hear it was not the self destruct button.

I can tell you this right now...
If I ever sell the RGU I'm on now...
I'm going to install a small button or switch in an out of the way location and run a wire in each direction, ALLLLLLLL THE WAY AROUND THE BIKE...

of course it'll really be only one wire, running to itself.

OMG! This is one of the funniest thread's I've read. Although the garage door opener is a damn good idea. I was hoping that was it, because I'd like to know how they did it.
