I just purchased a 07 Road Glide. The top of the windshield is just about eye level which makes it sort of aggrevating. I know there are shorter ones available. What are your experiences with the shorter ones (buffing and bugs coming over the shield other pros and cons). Secondly, is there a taller windshield for the Road Glide? Same questions as above is there is a taller one.
John is awesome to deal with, the product is excellant, you could go taller or shorter, i went a tad taller than stock on my 06 RG, its righ about 1-2 under my line of sight and works well, Quality is outstanding, BUT as of a cpl weeks ago they were still working 7-8 weeks out, John is getting a good business going, i almost went nuts waiting on mine but after it got here it was deffiantly worht the wait, i did the grey tint which helps, i also did the vent which i dont know if i would do again, it doesnt hurt anythign but im not shure it will help alot.

Thanks for the info. Just checked out the clearview website. I will definately look into one. Read some of the customer reviews and of course they are all positive. Does anyone have any negative comments/problems with this product. I want to hear all sides before i make a decision.
i got the gt large, its 2in taller and 2in wider and its a great improvemnt, im 6,0 250, with the stock seat for now. THE only negative on the whole deal is the wait time, but its a fine product from a business that rembers what customer service is about. 7-8 weeks at this time, im assuming that they make these as they are ordered and dont have them laying around, the batwings shileds maybe differant i dont know. but if you can handle the wait they are well worth it
Clearview makes angreat windshield. I got mine yesterday it was worth the wait. I tried HD's taller screen and this is by far better. I went with the 2 inch vertically taller. I'm 6'4" 210 stock seat for now. I think the best feture is no more rattle or scaring of the tinted area at the bottom of the shield.
at the bottom of the windshield there is a black tape (?) area that they are talking about that rubs. I say get some small bumper pads you use on drawers to keep them from slamming and attach them just under the shield on the farring out of site.
With the shield being 2" wider it hits my mirrors when trying to make sharp slow speed turns and also when trying to lock the fork. Other than that problem it's a great shield.
