i also did the vent which i dont know if i would do again, it doesnt hurt anythign but im not shure it will help alot.
any update on this statement? I have been considering the Clearview with the vent; here in Colorado I can use all the air flow I can get, and I don't currently seem to get much flow over the top of my modular helmet...
With the shield being 2" wider it hits my mirrors when trying to make sharp slow speed turns and also when trying to lock the fork. Other than that problem it's a great shield.
Tilt the bars back a little and it will not hit, also turn the mirror stems.
the vent does allow some air through but not a great lot, i guessi should say it does work but its not a hugh amount of air, and im not shure it was worht the 50.00, if i had it to do again i get the ventless, but its more personal opion, you can always get one and then close it, and it doesnt look bad at all

I have the Short Shield on my Bike and granted it doesn't deflect the wind but thats what my Glasses/Goggles/Face Shield is for and my Bike Looks Better
I have the 10" windshield for Cee Baileys and love it, some people like the short windshelds and other like the taller ones. Friends I know that have road glides all like the tall shields it is a personal choice.
