Default Help point me in the right direction

just got my first Harley last month. 2012 ultra limited. Thinking stage 1 at least for now. I really love this bike but I’m missing the power that my old vtx1800 had. Just looking for a direction I guess. It already has Reinhart mufflers and I love the sound. Was thinking ventilator elite intake and dealership dyno tune maybe the reinhart slimline header pipes to knock the heat down. Not sure about all this honestly. Ultimately, I’m planning to go farther as I’ve got the money. Just looking to lay the groundwork. Basically, it’s all about comfort for me and my wife and the torque to pull us around while being fun when I’m by myself. Anyways, sorry for rambling on and thanks for any input suggestions in advance.

Is the bike stock except for the Rinehart slip-ons?

It’s stock. Mufflers are the only change and I bought it that way.

Disclaimer: I'm not a touring guy. (yet)
Avoid the dealer for any sort of peformance work. Find a good independent in IL. There are several.

Get a high flow intake...anything but that kuryakin dud and you'll be ok. A good header would help or gut yours if that's where the cat is...cheaper option. Then skip the dealer tune and get a real dyno tune from a good tuner if ones available. If there's not a good tuner near you, you'll be better off with a power vision from fuel moto than a dealer tune.

The dealer can tune your bike without buying a tuner, that's the way mine was done.
Don't go that route.
Wait until you can buy a tuner and get someone other than a dealer to dyno it.

Option to increase power are endless... If it were my bike I would put a moderate cam in, say a Andrews 57... High flow air filter and you will need a tuning device, V&H FP3 or a Dynojet Power Vision or other. There are big bore kits to increase displacement and the list goes on and on... But a good cam, air filter and tuner are a great place to start.

You are fighting a battle here. I believe the Honda is a couple hundred pounds lighter so you will need a lot of Hp to get the feel of the Honda.

Do a stage one for now. A power vision tuner or TTS will allow for growth. Once you get rid of the cat in the header and get it tuned (Fuel Moto will get you going with a map that's close). Ride it for a while and then plan for an over the winter build. After riding stage one bikes and then add cams (stage II) and then going big bore. My vote is for the big bore kit with heads built by a reputable builder/tuner if the budget allows. Most cams that will work in a stage II bike are not optimal when you start messing with the heads.
