Default Quiet Baffles

I was reading up on quiet baffles for my V&H 450 destroyer full exhaust, and it sounds like it could decrease the noise level by 4-5 decibels. Does anyone have experience doing this? I love the sound of my V&H exhaust, but it is a tad bit loud for me at highway speeds. I want to make sure that i wouldnt loose that great sound by using quiet baffles. Im also not sure if they would impact performance

Not sure if you guys watch South Park, but there is an episode on harleys that explains another value to quieter exhausts:

you can love your Harley and still love that episode...one of my favorites

My new to me 09 UC has LA Chopper slip-ons and they were loud. After research I found some quite baffle inserts to replace the current ones. When I got them they seems to be the same baffles with a blanket of fiberglass wrapped around them. They did the trick and sounds great to me. I think I could have wrapped the original baffles myself and had the same results. Fiberglass was just taped around them. No change in performance I could tell.
