BTW, with the $ 35.00 Pingel Wheel Spacer you can run the same MU85 140-series tire that 2004-and-up FLH models use. Greater contact patch, improved braking and longer tire life are some of the advantages, in addition to the cool factor. No other mods are involved, other than inserting the spacer between the wheel and pulley. I wouldn't go back to the 130-series tire after feeling the difference in stability.

I put a 140 Metz on my 99 Road Glide no problems, andno spacer needed.
Put a Metz on instead of Dunlop. I ran Dunlops on my 01RK until my parts guy talked me into trying the Metzlers. Two things I noticed immediately my bike turned better and I noticed when riding through construction where the road's all ground down for resurfacing, the bike doesn't do that "wobble" nearly as much as the Dunlops do.
The difference between Duncraps and Metzler is night and day, Apples and Oranges.................................... Get the Metzler's and put the 140 on the rear, you won't be sorry. Just remember to run the right psi in the tires. Front 38 psi and rear 44 psimin up to 50 psi max for loaded 2 up riding.
