First post..... I have a question about the 2011 Street Glide I purchased in March. Love the bike (picture below). Have made some personal changes to make it my own that are not shown in this dealer shot.
My question is: The bike is wearing Screaming Eagle emblems on the tank. Nothing else on the bike identifies it as a SE model. Are there other markers I should look for. BTW, yes, this is my first Harley.
My understanding was the 2011 ‘Screaming Eagle”, has the screaming Eagle logo on the tank. If it is the original tank and logo, then it is the CVO model, and should have all the CVO bodies, including the 110 motor. The motor should have 110 Screaming Eagle marked on the heads. Someone smarter than me can help you decode the VIN, to ensure it’s a factory CVO.
Edit: Looking closer at your picture, it doesn’t seem to have the other CVO features...li’e chrome handle controls, and the 110 marking on the motor,
Do you have contact with the original owner to get the story on it?

You can go to Harley's site and plug in your VIN and it will tell you everything about the bike as built. The SE is really just a performance name for their aftermarket parts. The CVO's are where the modles start to deviate quite a bit.The
Thanks, I'll see if I can run the VIN. I was just curious if someone just put them on for the appearance, or to fake people out. Definitely not a 110. Just a 96. Love riding it. Thanks again.
Besides the 110 motor, it would have a more elaborate custom paint job, different wheels and a CVO emblem on the tank console, among other amenities. In your case, it looks like someone replaced the original tank emblem.

From the picture you posted, it looks like someone just put on different tank emblems.
