Any of you guys with 2015 or newer bikes installed a 21 inch wheel and had issues with ABS? If so what did you do to correct it?
Just installed one on my 2015 road glide and abs isn’t working now. Light goes off as it should initially but a few miles down the road comes back on and abs doesn’t work. I’ve tested it and the rear for sure locks up when you hit brakes a little too hard. Haven’t and won’t try that with front unless necessary.
I know about the Tracmax and a dealer suggested changing abs bearing on new wheel to a harley abs bearing. I was just wondering if very many of you have encountered issues with this.
I bought my 21F/18R set and it came with ABS bearings installed, not sure what kind/brand but I've never had any issues so far. Good luck, hope you get it figured out!
Thanks I should have stated that I guess. The wheel is 21 inch reinforcer from Sport Chrome. Came with bearings installed and 130/60-21 Dunlop American Elite tire installed balanced with dyna beads. I’m still running with the stock 16 inch rear wheel.
