M8 squeaking noise

M8 squeaking noise

My 2017 Ultra has had a squeaking noise coming at idle from the right side of the engine since new (4700 mi now). The HD dealer says it's normal but I don't think it should be there. This is not my first large Harley but it's the first that has this noise.
Anyone else?

Have the dealer show you another 2017 M8 that makes the same noise. Bet they can't.

Haven't heard of this issue before.

You definitely have a problem if that squeak is from the inside of your engine.Parts that get lubricated by oil do not squeak. They might click,rattle or knock,but don't squeak. I would be looking outside the engine for the source of your squeak.

My 2017 Ultra Class does not have a squeaking noise. May be something with the air cleaner and air going into the throttle body. Or you have an exhaust leak somewhere.
