I have a 2012 FLHTK with heated grips. The grips are deteriorating and becoming very sticky. I need to replace them. Do I have to replace the whole heated grip assembly or can you replace the "cover" part that your hand touches?
I thought I read once that you can wipe the sticky grips down with lighter fluid to clean the goo off of them. Sticky might be good in this case to keep the grab on’s in place.
hbsoldier3, can you please tell me about that bag you have on your lowers? Where to get it how you like it, etc?
Many thanks,
Don
It is a Hopnel , which I modified to fit. However, since then Kuryakyn has came out with one. They come in a pair. If you are only looking for one I will buy the other one.

My bike is a 2009 Electra Glide Classic and those Kuryakyn's seem to only come for 2014 and newer. I would also have to get solid doors for my lowers. I intend to get locking doors as well, so I guess my only option will be Hopnel. Thanks very much for the info.
