Before I order a kit, my understanding is my 09ultra has some adjustment with the tour pack. How can I tell which position it’s currently in? I’m gonna move it back if able see how that works then order a kit if necessary.
I don't know about adjust ability of the stock bracket. The previous owner of my 2009 Ultra Classic had installed the TP relocation kit. I installed it on the TP detach kit I installed... I had to drill a couple holes in the detach bracket to mount it. It works great!
The DK Customs kit worked well for me. Just a heads up though, now my wife has an issue with the bags on the backs of her legs. I may have to find a way to raise the passenger floorboards.
pull the tour pack liner out, if there is adjustment you sould see extra holes in the bottom of the pack, mine was all the way back already( really wasnt much adjustment there.
Kuryakyn Quick Adjust Tour-Pak Relocator - 8973 this is the one I ended up getting for my 2010.
Ultimate seats has a re locator....requires no drilling. I bought one like it from a diff company years ago. Very easy install. No desire to drill holes in my tourpak.

My wife is 5' so when I moved the tourpak back 3"(kury relocator ) she had the same issue she also has the kury adjustable pegs which helps. I had the 1' spacers in her boards already so I took some flat stock (all I could find at the time was 1/4", so I took three pieces together) drilled them to match the pattern moved the bottom bolt to the top bolt position and the outer piece I extended up the 2" that is the distance of the bolt pattern this puts the floorboards up 2 " from the upper position. This moves her feet up and her legs away from heat, works for her.

yeah that’s the one I’m going to get, I’m probably gonna run into issues with the saddlebag guard rubbing the back of her legs...
