Jerry: You mentioned that you just swapped your bars, so it's tough to say if what you have is indexed or not. I can't remember if my stock bars were or not; it's been so long since I had them. The bars that I now have is indexed on the left side though, but only you or the manufacturer of your new bars would know if yours is unless you're willing to mention what bars you now have. Someone helpful will eventually chime in, I'm sure.

There are NO index marks. Where the levers sit is purely a judgement call. #25 Torx for the switch housings and #27 Torx for the lever clamp. Loosen both somewhat, position, re-tighten clamp then housings.
