In my opinion I now looks like a lack of air gonna remove air cleaner tonight and retry a map with the cams in it.
You got me confused on what you doing. Then again your avatar pic is a bit confusing, lol.

Whether or not you pick up anything depends on how well the intake tract flow as a whole and that you exhaust system don't choke things off. If the inlet to the throttle body has a squared lip, it might be worthwhile to find and AC that has a more rounded entrance. Still it depends on how good the rest of the tract is. Exhaust system also but it becomes more important when you move away from stock smogged cams.

Changing the air cleaner won't make the changes you needed..... assuming the engine is running properly and everything is working properly, you were obviously way rich if fuel was coming out the exhaust....

It appears there is something wrong with your tune.... I would now be suspicious of the original tune, without the cams. Really lean tunes tend to run well, seat of the pants....

The FP3 is great for adjusting for a stage I, but there is a reason that no reputable tuners use it for their builds/dyno tunes......

You did some major mods, I would have gone right to a TTS or PowerVision for your tuning. But hindsight is 20/20......

I would get a proper dyno tune if there is a competent dyno tuner near you... if not, at least call FuelMoto and see if they can fix you up with a PowerVision and a tune...

Good luck sorting it out....
