I am planning to do pulley change on my 2015 RGS, I was quite surprised realizing that pulley change is not that popular in touring section, contrary to Softail/Dyna sections of this forum where pulley change is a VERY popular mods. I have 30/68 F/R pulley on my 2012 Fatboy and the difference compared to stock is night and day, it felt like I just changed to bigger motor.
I understand that there is no option either OEM or aftermarket for 70T rear pulley on 09+ Touring range but I know that 30T front pulley is available from Andrews or Baker because Harley's big twin front pulley remains the same throughout the years, based o77n my understanding 30T upfront alone without the rear 70T will still give massive gain on acceleration but will give me problem being unable to set proper belt tension. The question is what tooth count belt should I get in order to retain proper belt tension adjustment with 30T front pulley alone? Stock is 140T 24mm wide. Thanks in advance folks!!!
A 31T IMHO will give only marginal improvement in performance (32/31 = 1.033, or 3.3% reduced gearing), whereas a 30T gives 32/30 = 1.066 or 6.6% reduced gearing, which will be much more noticeable and worth the effort and expense. On my older bike, when I changed from 32T to 30T, I found I had to change the belt.
139 tooth belt. Just did this on a 2015 street glide. Really really good combo of 30t front pulley and Andrew's 57's. Pulley makes the bottom end pull very well. By the time the cams come alive, it pulls even better.
Only downfall is that speedometer will be off. I think we saw the speedo indicating about 10-12mph slower when keeping up with 70mph traffic. If you have a fuel.pak 3, it has a speedo correction option that uses your phones gps.
I guess aftermarket belt is the only logical way to go since I already have the 30t on hand. What's the best aftermarket brand? 139t 24mm/1" is only available in aftermarket.

I went a different route with the 30T pulley so I could retain the stock belt. Reason being, if by chance I ever broke a belt while on the road, the likelihood of a dealer having my belt would be substantially greater than if I were running an aftermarket belt.
I pulled the swing arm and slotted it 3/8" allowing the axle to move further back. Welded a gusset underneath the swing arm to strengthen it and welded a piece of key stock in place for the cam to rotate against. Been running it like this for over 40k miles with zero issues. YMMV.
