I liked em. But, many who install apes don't realize- you should check the riser bolts at least annually. Excess torque on the bars from the height/length torques these bolts and they can crack. Had it happen multiple times. Started replacing them annually.
Shorter the bar is, less of an issue, but, it still adds torque.
