Default valve train noise

I love my new bike, wouldn't trade it for anything (well, that might be stretching it). BUT, there is considerably more valve train noise on this bike than I had to endure on my '05 Fatboy. At first I was thinking it was just because of the fairing and the lowers (I know it makes a difference) but I'm sure it's louder, especially since going Syn 3 at the 1K. Anybody think Mobil 1 V-Twin will quiet it any? I just bought 2 cases!

I use mobil 1 V twin in the engine and primary of my 06 ultra, and use redline shockproof in transmission. It helped my oil pressure by 5 psi and quieted a lot of noises. worked for me Dan

Were you running Syn 3 prior to that? And where did you find the Redline Shockproof?

All the noises are louder with a fairing and lowers. Your bagger doesn't have conter balancers either.

Yeah, I know, I guess I'm just hoping that the Mobil 1 will quiet things down a bit. Heck, it can't hurt!
