Handlebars? Apes?
I'm looking at changing out my stock bars 05' electra glide classic to a set of Apes and I've been looking into the Yaffee 10"-12" Monkey bars. My question is are there any other aftermarket manufactures out there that may have a similar style to the Yaffes but are good quality and less expensive?
Thanks

Question for you about your 14's, did you install them yourself?

Yes I did. I would give it a 5 on the difficulty scale with 10 being the most difficult..... The hardest part for me was pulling the wires through the bars. I removed the connectors and it was still a pain. They have a very good you tube video that i used which made the job a breeze.

Try different heights before you buy. I just installed 13" Hill Country Custom bars and I have a police seat which puts me up and back ~1.5 inches. They are a great fit for me and I am 6'4" with a 38" sleeve. I have seen the post recommending to always go larger however you should probably hit up a dealer with a large selection of used bikes and take something to measure the bars and just start trying them out. Have a seat and take the measures of the ones that feel the best. I asked the guys in the dealer about what height the bars were (even on new bikes) and they did not know so a tape measure would be good to have. Check with the companies to see how they measure bar height as well so you know how to measure. Good luck.

I almost threw my yaffes in the trash i had such a bad time getting the wires run. I would probably buy anything else other than yaffes. Check out vindikta and f47. The price is similar to the yaffes. I had a hard time getting a small chain through the straight section of my yaffes. Id hate to run a bore scope through them to see the welds. I expect shorts in my wiring before too long from the welds cutting the insulation.
