So with so many Brands out there its hard to really make a good purchase decision without actually being able to see all the sizes and different brands installed on numerous bikes so that I could sit on them and get what I like the best? But that's never gonna be possible! What I do know is that I want them in a black finish either Gloss or Matte not chrome! I'm 5'11' and I want the bars to be just at the top of the fairing so again it makes it difficult to purchase the correct size as there are so many brands out there and I'm sure one brand at a 12" isn't necessarily gonna sit at the same height as another brands 12"? I know I'm gonna be in the market for either 10" 12" or 13" nothing more nothing less! Now its just narrowing it down!!?

Default Handlebar swap out Stock

I'm looking to swap out my stock handlebars on my 2012 Street Glide FLHX, to the 14" LA Choppers, I've seen on YouTube that a 2014 Street Glide is able to maintain stock wires/cables, so wanted to know if this was the same for a 2012???

I did the 14” LA Choppers Twin Peaks on my 16 SGS, only thing I had to get was extension for the TBW. Clutch and brake cables were about maxed out at that on it. From my understanding, the previous year models cables are a little shorter.

I put 12.5” Wild Ones on my 12 FLHTK and had to use wire extensions and replace the clutch cable. I was able to use stock brake cable but it was tight.

I love my KST renegades and their customer service is outta this world. When I installed mine I taped them up with cheap *** duct tape to protect the finish (Black powdercoat) from damage as I was pulling the wires. When I had them mounted I was taking the tape residue off with some mineral spirits and the finish at the triple treesclamp started to bubble. As small area but Dissatisfying to say the least. I shot the guys a note explaining my issue and they offered me the opportunity of sending the bars back WITH ALL THE CONTROLS INSTALLED and said they would exchange the bars AND REWIRE THEM FOR ME FREE OF CHARGE! Now if you can beat that for customer service I'll kiss your ***!

Jsr has some good bars and $209 shipped. Also veteran owned. They don't chrome though so you can get some bare steel cheaper if you need to chrome them.
