Default The Six Beer Job

Replaced my broken fairing supports today, and I got thirsty. I got it done, but if I had to do it over again I would have gone with the updated version from HD like was suggested to me. At least it's finally under 100* here, gonna take a long ride tomorrow.....

It's some kind of special high impact nylon blingtanium stuff from Alloy Art. They do seem pretty beefy.

Those look like 3D printed parts. Not on my bike and II 3d Print almost every day.

lionsm13. Why did you weld them? For extra strength? I have welded both sides on my 2007 Ultra a couple of times. Going to have to get one of those repair kits.

I just put a small piece of 1/16" thick aluminum across the break to bridge as a doubler and riveted it. Did one side several years ago and then when the other side broke I did the same thing. Both have held up fine no more breaks. Got at least 35,000 miles on the first one.

I used the 4 pc Ragan kit, I doubt they'll ever break at those spots again.
