One other thing to consider;

Back when the wife and I rode in 'cold' weather, I noticed that if I had on gloves that
kept my hands really warm, they would tend to make my hands sweat some thereby
making my hands really cold.
Once the glove lining gets damp, it's hard to dry them.
Might be good to try some of the suggestions about deerskin and/or heated grips.

If you ride in the cold, nothing beats heated gear. Best thing I ever bought for the bike was heated jacket liner and gloves. The wires aren't that bad. A little pigtail out from under the seat. The thermostat hooks to your belt or leathers and then plug into the pigtail. If you get cold, turn up the thermostat. Get hot, turn it back down. I commute ( hour each way ) year round on the bike and the heated gear is awesome. Yes I live in Houston but it does get below freezing and I've even ridden in the teens comfortably.

My hands are the most critical body part to motorcycle operation and control. I always wear gloves 100% of the time. If you go down you will reach out with your hands and it can be bad.

I ride a lot in cold weather. More than once we have left on trips with warm weather destinations but had to leave in temperatures as low as 28 degrees!

So I am glove poor. Funny but I just pulled out all my gloves this weekend, cleaned, inspected and made some switches on the bike.

I have the following:

1 pair Harley finger-less gloves for really hot weather
2 pair of Harley light to medium full finger leather gloves
2 pair Water Proof Gloves, one mid weight and one heavy weight
1 pair HD Fleece Gloves - One of my favorite!
2 pair Gerbing Heated Gloves - 8 yr old G3 & New Gyde Vanguard

Just yesterday I ordered the wife some Joe Rocket waterproof gloves from Revzilla and please don't tell her but I also ordered me a new pair of Rev'It Fusion GPX gloves for me!

I need to get my snow ski gear out and check it now!

Get yourself a set of Vetter Hippohands or a current knock-off.

Pretty they aren't, warm they are.

Form and function I can see, but I would just as soon wear pink bunny slippers LOL

I have and use 3 pairs of heated gloves along with jackets, pants and socks. I ride year round in comfort.

You are at the beginning end of the "study" to see what part of your body gets intolerably cold AFTER you get the most sensitive part properly protected. When I need a face shield to keep cheeks from freezing, that's it. I take the car. My older son, the engineer has a simple criteria, if ANY water spilled on the pavement (for any reason) could freeze and cause a fall, he also takes the car.

Well said, save your money, as one of those with a collection of all types of gloves, nothing worked except the heated gloves.
