When it gets cold- in the 40 degree range and lower, I just wear insulated deerskin gloves, coupled with the heated handlebars on the limited, they are all I need. And they're not terribly expensive- under $20.

My hands "chill" very easily (due to meds I suppose) so I use a combination on my bike of hand wind deflectors, heated grips and heated gloves.

Heated grips are okay in cool weather but they do not keep the backs of the hands (or fingers) very warm.

If I had to choose from one of the three, I'd go with the heated gloves (I have two pairs) as they provide more warmth. but once the temp drops below 50 degrees, the toys stay in the garage and I opt for something with a heated and an enclosed cab!

'Tis the season.

I've had deerskin, etc. At the end of the day, save your time and trouble and invest in good heated gloves. If you don't use them a ton, you could roll with battery powered ones, but best are wired.

I wear Gerbing 12v glove with a gerbing jacket liner. Hooks up to the battery. 20 degree weather all day long.

btw it’s not cheap but I could not live with them.

For warmth you need the extra features of waterproof & windproof in your gloves.. I've been using a pair of Olympia winter riding gloves for about 15 years and they are the warmest, non battery powered gloves I've ever had. . . check these out:

Defiinetly will check into battery type. Don’t want the wires. I’ve gone through about 8-10 pairs of gloves that are now filling up my cabinet. Appreciate all the input

If you can, heated glove liners in snowmobile gloves. Yes, you can get them in black. I have heated glove liners from Power in Motion, outta Calgary.

With heated grips and these gloves, I can snowmobile in 10-degree weather.

As for the bike, get heated jacket or vest. If your core is warm, your extremities will be warm.

My Choko snowmobile gloves with Power in Motion heated liners. I have leather gauntlet motorcycle gloves and heated grips too.

If you can't deal with heated because of wires etc (they are a pita on those shorter trips)

I've found these to be outstanding: https://shop.olympiagloves.com/colle...ng-extra-touch
