Default Road Glide infotainment wonderment

TBH this just occurred to me watching a video but wondering why it I never thought about it before nor do I recall seeing anyone post it. It sits at too much of an angle!!! It seems to me that we would get MUCH less glare and have available vision issues were it to be more face forward, IOW facing directly at you as opposed to tilted up to the sky, if that is clear. What got me to recognize this was searching for an infotainment replacement.

There are more than a few threads on the glare issue. Here's one:

I think just about every road glide owner thinks that. If it was just tilted down a few degrees it would be so much better glare wise.
Of course as soon as we do that, everyone would be complaining about all the other gauges (which are at the same angle) blinding them. ha

Could this be PROOF that the guys who design and build them DON'T ACTUALLY ride them?

What works for some, won’t work for others. Also a function of sitting further back from the screen. It’s happened a few times to me, but not in any way an “issue”.

I've been nearly blinded by the glare more than once. Have to ride holding my left hand between the screen and my face. Stupidest ****ing design and engineering error in years.

Could HD be held liable if a blinding glare caused an accident ? For sure it appears to be a design flaw and I don't see litigating that would be an issue.
