Looking at a 2010 hd ultra classic CVO with 65,000 miles. The guy just had a stage 4 rebuild done with all screaming eagle heads,259 cams and pistons.Has 130 miles on the new build. The clutch and crank are still stock ..Is a stock clutch and stock crank going to be an issue with this build?
He says around 120 hp..
Lots of miles to load that kind of power on the bottom end and clutch. Who would dump money like that on a bike and want out of it? Seems fishy. Be very careful and have it checked by a third party mechanic, if you go forward with it.
The transmissions were very troublesome in the 2010 year models.
We had a Ultra Classic non-CVO that we bought new. The transmission went out around 20k miles, then did it again around 30k miles. We sold it in 2016 with 56K miles. I bet with that added HP that the tranny will be a weak link.
