Ok, so I have a 2009 RK that currently has 12 inch apes on it. I am looking to go up to 14" El Diablos ( ). I am ordering them prewired, however they are not prewired for the Cruise Control. I am guessing I will have to run those wire separate and extend them. I am also ordering a +6 clutch cable, as far as my brake cable I have plenty of slack for two more inches. My last concern is the throttle cables. I can't find a kit just for throttle cable for 16" apes. Only thing I have come across is the Burley Cable package with everything for over $300. Trying not to break the bank doing this. Yes I am sure I want to go up in size, I have been wanting to since getting the bike, but after riding last week with the stock seat back on for my wife's comfort I really need those extra 2". Yes, that's what she said! Lol. Any suggestions or help would be a great help!
