It looks like that extra width would keep the wind from hitting you in the face and shoulders too. Am I right?
On this shield yes, not quite as much on my 6" Touring wide. I have 2 Freedoms, 6" and 10". The 10" is the one in the photos. I use it for **** poor weather and when with the wife. It comes just to eye level for me but it is nice to reduce the rain and wind on cold and wet rides. These swap out so easy in less then 3 minutes. I am considering getting the 8" so I have a selection based on ride, length and weather.
These are nicer then any shield I have seen when it comes to quality and clarity.
