Thanks for the requested information, with the wheel already off, I guess it isn't as bad as I figured.

I put ride-on in my tires and it's the best thing i've ever done to the bike. Really smoothed the ride out. It will be in all my bikes from here on out.

I've been getting a small vibration in my rear tire as well. Use Ride-On every tire change with no issue. Came home from work last night and the ride just wasn't quite right, a little vibration, but just wasn't right. Jacked bike up, took rear wheel off, found 4 large cracks in the area where the side meets the road contact patch. I was about to the point of replacement anyways. Found that the tire had a mfg date of 1714 on it. I bought the tire last summer and installed it. So, just cause its a new tire, doesn't mean it's a fresh tire.

Cool

I've been riding for over 50 years and while all my current bikes have cast wheels, I reckon I have ridden more miles on wire-spoked wheels to date. Don't be put off by adverse comments, just reflect on where the wire-spoked wheel has and still takes mankind!
