if you see anyone with an older EG and a chrome baffle,they might have their old black one for sale....thats how i got mine.....its the best 10 bucks i've spent.
Two schools of thought on that one, keeps the engine cooler in the hot weather and stops the wind buffeting over the tank. I leave mine on year round, works for me.
According to the harley site, it fits road kings. I wonder if anyone is using one.
I am trying to reduce the buffeting on my tank area, and I thought that the wind deflectors were the only way to stop this.

I added one to me Ultra and it does help. Same on a friend's RG. Should work on your RK as well.
I believe, as far as Ultras go, that the 2001 year model was the last to have the baffle. My 2002 Ultra did not come with one, but a good friend of mine had one on his 2001Ultra.
