Yes. N light came back, odo came back, the lights on the clusters came back and all the gauges are back. Rode it over to the storage unit for winter. Put the cover on the 2010 and rolled it into the corner of the garage.

Glad you got it going again....If I wash my bike its a light spray just to get it wet, not on the handlebars or inside of fairing...
Yea he didn't seem all that interested in helping...which turned out to be an easy fix. The bike was coated with sawdust from some garage projects and I never got the cover on in time. I washed more than normal, but not more than if the bike was sitting out in the rain for an hour.
So I called the dealer when I got home. He basically said put a fan in front of the bike and if it doesn't work tomorrow to call them....Not much help today.
I looked at the battery tender and it was flashing which isn't normal for having a full charge over night. I pulled the fuse panel and took a look. All but one was good. The BATT fuse. Luckily there was a spare 5a right under it. I threw it in and all is back to normal. Not sure where the problem originated from. Maybe I forgot to put the plug back on the battery tender end and it got wet? Trouble codes galore of no communication with everything. Reset the codes and engine light is gone.
So there you have it folks. If the radio and lights work but nothing else, check the battery fuse! So strange that the radio and lights bypass this battery fuse, but the rest of the bike relies on it.
Not knowing why that popped would drive me crazy, I'd never trust the bike getting soaked in a good rain till I did.
Note to self * put some replacement fuses in a small baggie and tape them under a side cover somewhere on the RK.
So got the bike out of storage a couple weekends ago. We went out for dinner and I came home and left it on the driveway overnight. I don't think it rained, but may have sprinkled? I go to put it in the garage and it's dead again. I check and the 5A fused is popped again. Is it possible my FP3 tuner is causing it pop? Nothing else is aftermarket on the bike electrically. The bike will be a year old this Sunday so I am trying to schedule the 1000 mile service for this weekend and have them take a look at the fuse popping. However I know they will either 1) blame the tuner b) say they can't find the problem. Tempted to put a 7.5a in to see if that holds.
take the leads off the battery and place a VOM across them. Insure all switches are off on all the components on the bike. You should see infinite resistance. If not, you have a short to ground.
I made an appointment for 1000 mile service and warranty on this. It was blown again when I went to start it yesterday to bring it there. Then it blew while RIDING there. Since it was already running it stayed running. I removed the FP3 and she still blew so that was not the issue. I think it may be the hand warmers because the last couple rides I had them on. We will see what they come up with.
