So it ended up being a pinched wire in the handle bars. Covered under warranty luckily.

Not sure if related, but today is the first time I have ridden since getting it back. The battery had enough juice to turn on but not start over. I put the battery tender on it for about 10 minutes and she started right up. However, the screen was blank. Said F it, rode all the way to work and just as I pulled up, the screen went back on and radio started playing. Different than last time because with the fuse blown the screen and radio worked, but the gauges wouldn't and it wouldn't start. I am hoping it had something to do with the battery being almost dead....

Even with everything perfect, it only takes a few weeks for all of the keep alive memories and fob receiver to drain a healthy battery. If it is not ridden frequently AND when it is in storage, keep a tender on it. otherwise, next spring it will be dead and the battery will likely be beyond hope also.

I usually keep a tender on both my bikes. July went fast and I didn't bother plugging it in.

Make sure this button is "ON".

I don’t know how many times I’ve flipped that switch on accident while cleaning and panic when it won’t start.
