3. Buy a header pipe w/o the cat
Living in CA, I chose to not modify the stock head pipe, never know if I'll need it again one day. So I bought a Fuel Moto 2-1-2 headpipe about 5 years ago. No issues. Other than my right leg is no longer on fire.
there's videos on YouTube as well....cut it open an remove it an weld it back...or take it to an exhaust shop an have it welded back. some guys have great results an some complain of difficulty tuning.
