Does anyone know of a magnetic holder that I can use on my console panel for my iPhone? I really don't want a holder on my bars and I thought I had seen some kind of pouch that came with a magnetic backing and was strong enough to hold my phone in place in order to changes songs if I wanted!
thanks in advance!
As said above, console on the RK will not work with magnets. I have a steelie mount on all my vehicles, so the magnet on my phone works on the tank. I use a small piece of cloth to avoid scratches... yeah, I am weird like that.
I would think something mounted on that dash will be too low. I notice that my turn signal indicators below the speedo are way too low and I have to look down to see them.
I use a Ram x mount on the bars and it works great. Aesthetically not the best on the bars but effective for GPS.

This is what I use (steelies), except I have the steel ball with the rubber straps on the bar. Its easy to put on/take off. I have trust issues with it not vibrating off the tank. I found the tank bags didn't really fit well with the console.

Rokform makes a magnetized phone case. HD carries them, or you can look them up online. I have an 03 RK and the console doesnt attract a magnet very well. I purchased a handlebar mount (also Rokform) but I got it at a bicycle shop. The handlebar mount from Rokform, specifically for motorcycles, did not work for me, was too obtrusive. Its a swivel mount, and was too large for my liking. The bicycle shop carried a small discrete bar mount, that worked out just fine .
