Been thinking about swapping out my black face gauge for a set of the white faced streeglide gauges. What i'm wondering about is the speedo. Will it just go to the mileage that is current on the bike or will it have to be programmed by the dealer to show correct mileage ? I was thinking the information was stored in the ECM. These old eyes i have sure can see the white faced gauges better.
Sorry forgot to say what bike, 15 tri-glide

Keep in mind that any accessory $'s that you put into your bike go with the bike
If you're not planning on keeping this bike for a long time you should consider this before spending the $'s.
My riding partner installed new gauges (and many other accessories) on his '10 Ultra and had more invested in it than I have in my '13 CVO and he lost a LOT of $'s on that bike.

If you do not install a new HD speedo, you will get the "VINERR" message. So do not buy a used one. When you install a new one the "B" trip indicator counts backwards from 31 to zero. Then the speedo will be set to the current bike mileage. As for me, I replaced my 14FLHTK with the CVO black gauges, they are real easy to read night or day. For me they were better than the white face gauges, and cheaper to boot than than stock gauges.

All I can say is DON'T DO IT!!! I have the white-face gauges on my '17 SGS, and in the evening (Twilight) they're almost impossible to read, and you can't adjust the intensity of the orange backlighting.
