Curious as to what the best way to connect the two bags so I can use them together (bungee cords, special straps???). Also, does anyone know where to purchase a decent priced rainfly cover? Thanks for any help. Be safe.
Those bags have straps that connect them together. As far as a rain cover, I carry a couple of large black plastic trash bags in the bike. If I need a rain cover I put one on. If you don't want to carry them, you can usually get someone at a convience store to just give you on.
Thanks for the reply bill. Unfortunately, the bags didn't come with those straps since it was used and a smoking deal. I guess bungee chords will have to do.
they have "d" rings or hooks (whatever ya wanna call em) on them, take the smaller bag's drings and turn them sideways slide em thru the drings on the larger bag and then turn them back and they will be locked together
Have you thought about contacting SAC? I have that same bag, and then normally come with rain covers. I'm sure that you could get the instructions, rain covers, and mounting straps from them, their customer service used to be top notch.
