anyone install a 96-13 windshield on a pre-96 Electra Glide?

I installed a 14 on a 2017 work nice stops a lot of puffiering at highway speeds on my 17 Ultra Classic.

I had a cup of coffee in a Mexican restaurant once. It was way too hot. I don't remember the name of the restaurant but it was in a town called Clinton, Arkansas. It's a pretty little town... Well, at least it was before the tornado came through. Now it looks completely different.

I also have irrelevant information that doesn't answer OP's question.

Answer is no it won’t. Got a scratched up used one for nothing from a local shop to test fit. The 96-13 is not as wide as the pre-96.

An early shield has seven ? screw fixing holes, compared with only three on the later shield. The extra holes could be drilled, to make things fit, but while the later one has a straight bottom edge the earlier one isn't straight. Check them both out on a parts website. Are they inter-changeable? No! can the later one be made to fit? Quite possibly!

I’m aware of the 5 vs 3 hole difference but wasn’t sure about actual size. Found out yesterday there is a pretty big difference in wrap around size. Not worth trying to make it fit as it won’t reach the out edges of my batwing. Gonna get the one I have shaved down and sprayed black to get the look I want. Thanks for the feedback though.👍🏻
