Default Slip on mufflers

Anyone have a preference for slip on mufflers for a 2018 Road Glide Special?

The TAB Performance mufflers are a perfect match to the OE black heat shields on the Specials.

Rather happy with my Rinehart 4" tho I admit, once the warranty is up, I may go Fuel Moto 117 and get their 2:1 Road and Track exhaust.

Kinda depends on what you're going for (sound, looks, back pressure etc.). A few years ago I put a set of HD Street Cannons on my Ultra Limited. They give me a better sound when I twist... while at the same time they're not obnoxious at all.......and my hearing won't be destroyed....I'm very pleased with them.

How do the SSmk45 rate on the scale of lost back pressure and low end torque on the M8?
I like the way they sound.

I have those on my 2004 Road King. They sound pretty decent for being one of the most inexpensive slip-on sets you can buy.

Did you also change the air cleaner? Did you need a tuner or ECM flash/download?

I ran more sets than I like to think about on my M8. Started with street cannons but quickly sold, not even in the ball park of what I wanted. Next went with RCX 4.5, then onto Rush Big louie, S+S MK45, Tab with zombie baffle, and finally Magnaflow. Tab was definatly the loudest of the ones I ran but I didn't care for the tone, not very deep. The magnaflows were my favorite on every level. I had the 4.5 hitman and now have a set of magnaflow knockouts on my new bike. Love them and they are the deepest of anything I've ran or heard on an M8
