I have a 2010 fxdc and I think the key fob battery might be dead. How do I know if it's that besides the alarm going off like I don't have it near the bike, but I do.
It won't let me start it even tho I have the key fob. Could it be a dead battery in the fob?

If you key fob requires a battery they do need to be replaced. Run on up to your local Walmark and pick up a pack.

You should have two fobs, so replace both of them!

well, to be honest, a little more info is needed. we can make guesses all day long, and replacing the battery in the fob is probably your problem, but... does the bike crank? if so, then fob is not your problem. is your bike in neutral? clutch pulled in? how about the bike battery? what condition is it in?
