Just trying to get a few owner's opinions. I'm not going to be buying another bike until spring but I'm looking now. I'm going to look at a 2016 at a dealer's site on Saturday with a little over 3k. Seems to be a stock setup. There's another 2016 from a private seller that caught my eye on the other side of the state for almost the same price with 13k but claims "Heated gear set up installed. Audible siren, ABS, led headlamps and fog lamps. Touring package with luggage rack was installed by Harley. Harley Davidson slip on pipes. Premium sound system. Voice activated for your music, phone, and gps." How much of that is actually standard equipment?

I just replied to another thread but my writing might be of use to you..........
At 5'9" with a 30" inseam I couldn't be happier with my '15 Ultra Limited Low. The slightly pulled back bars and lower height give me a greater feel of stability and handling. As others mentioned it doesn't come standard with heated grips but I easily added them before delivery. As far as rubbing the floorboards goes....lets face it its a "tourer" not a sport bike so while I can lean it a lot I usually don't lean enough to scrape. You'd be surprised that the boards don't scrape that often but if they do just deal with it....no big deal. The only three mods I've done is to put larger passenger boards (eBay) on so my wife is more comfortable and I changed the low seat out for a standard HD seat (eBay) that I sent to Mean City to customize. The low seat cramped me a bit. The heated grips (HD) and a 12" HD windshield (eBay).
Btw... when I bought mine in 2015, HD's MSRP for the low was about $1,000 more than the standard. I think they eliminated that up charge and now both models are basically the same MSRP.
+++ on what Rob above said.
Bought my '15 in April of this year. I had been looking for "just the right bike" for a few months until this one presented itself. It FIT ! I'm 5'10 wit a 29" inseam.
I have really added very little as the PO added HW pegs, Reinhart slip-ons, Klokwerk windshield, new tires, blade lights between the fender and bags and nifty cup holders. ABS, LEDs,and the premium sound system are standard on this model. Not sure what the "touring package" consists of but I added the luggage rack at the time of purchase. This is my 3rd Harley and it is a GREAT ride, even with the lowered suspension and skinny seat. Because of the lowered suspension it is MUCH more stable in slow speed maneuvering than my buddies '14 Limited. I live in Texas and although it can get cold, I have not noticed a need for heated grips so I don't miss them.
Overall I would say its the best choice I could have made, and it doesn't hurt that even though my wife rides very infrequently, she thinks its beautiful and enjoys the ride when she does.
Don't think you can go wrong. Go for it!!!

Sluggo, I have the 2015 regular Ultra, not LOW, but I can help with the add-ons. The "heated gear set up" sounds like the pigtail lead from the battery that allows you to plug in a heated jacket liner...price about $15. The following are add-ons: siren, ABS & Premium radio upgrade($1200), LED headlights and Fog lights, Touring Luggage Rack ($300), Harley slip ons.
If you can get all that $13K, I'd say jump on it. That's a real good price!
Hope to test ride a 19 today being 5.9 would like a little better reach for my feet and leg room. My current Ultra Classic is a little bigger then i wanted will report back after the test ride.

Good luck. BTW I'm 62 years old, 5'5" and shrinking.
