working on a 2009 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic stock risser how high is it????
i bought a special front for it and it appears as if the riser needs to be one inch lower and one inch forward what should i buy
no one seams to be able to help me on this
the bars are going to be changed out they appear to be 1 1/4 ape hangers the problem is the riser and it appears stock like the photo shows its pushed back into the inner fairing switch cap and thats where my delemma hits i need it 1 inch down and one inch in to appear uniform uniform there seams to be no one that can direct me to solve this question dealers know nothing other groups know nothing and others make dumb comments
Since the fairing appears to be aftermarket, I would investigate the company that made it and see if they make risers to account for this situation. I'm sure you aren't the first person that's had this issue with this fairing. And those are the stock HD risers for the Ultra Classic. Unless it's a highly modified stock one, that's also an aftermarket switch cap, assumedly made by the company that made the fairing.
Looks like the problem is the special albino faring.
Albino! LMAO! But yep,the problem is a poorly made aftermarket part. Ken,you can't expect 'custom' parts to fit like factory parts. I'd be looking at modifying the albino, instead of searching for parts that probably don't exist.
