Default New Air Cleaner differences
Looking to put a new one on the 114. I like the looks of the ventilator, but not sure the difference between it and the high flow wedge. Is there a difference in the air intake or mostly looks? Do either make the intake louder? Don't necessarily want to hear the intake. Basically wondering if the extra $100 is worth it.

I installed the k&n 1717. It looks almost twice the size of the factory filter and it was about $60 on Amazon. It fits under the factory cover

Plan is to step into Stage 1. I assume this solution doesn't fit the requirements?

That filter will flow more than enough air to do Stage 1, though your dealer will tell you otherwise

Being under warranty and having an extended warranty, it's probably worth the $ to be HD validated. It's back to ventilator vs high flow wedge.
