Default Wheel upgrade

I'm trying to fit an '07 Street Glide wheel with 1" bearing on my '91 Electra Glide with 3/4" axle and front wheel speedometer. Anyone have any info on part numbers to help me get this sorted out would be greatly appreciated. I know I need 3/4" bearings but not sure what size spacers and what will work for the speedometer. Going to take both wheels to a custom shop tomorrow but looking for some info if there is any out there to have an idea of parts if possible before hand. Cheers

you can also use the 1" to 3/4" adapters....at least for test fitting...I've read where guys have bought a bunch of 3/4" washers for test fitting...use the stacks of washers in place of the spacers an when it's lined up right an centered measure the washer stack an order the correct spacers.

I’m taking both my original and new wheel to the custom shop to see what they say as well. Should be pretty standard, just hoped someone had gone through the process. Need a new front tire which started all this, lol usually how I roll, no pun intended. If the wheel must come off let’s see what options I have to make it more less common.

Your bike is an Evo and I suggest you visit the Evo section, where a few of us have done similar mods. I have an 18" SG front wheel in my 1990 Glide, but have done other mods to make that work. Those SG rotors won't work with your current calipers, as they are larger in OD than your original ones. They can of course be machined down to the same OD, and the near-side one will need a slot to engage the speedo drive tab. There is no single way of doing this, nor a parts list. We each have different ways of making it work - it's called 'customising'!

Just posted in the evo section a little while ago. I’m all about customizing and doing whatever it takes but was curious what others had done. Actually rotors are exact except for the notch you mentioned which is not a huge issue. Thanks for the info.

Hopefully others will be along soon. There are threads around in there with useful info on how other members have done it.

They use the same size 11.5" OD Rotors ... But that's not the issue with the rotors ... it's the Radial "Swept Area" difference

Of course there are other more important issues to deal with
